Aeledrea is the spirit of the guardian. Her devotees often choose to become warriors sworn to protect the innocent or paladins. Her priests wear a silver chain from which hangs a seven-pointed star of crystal. They are expected to provide comfort, protection and consolation.

Seliun is the ultimate giver of life – the great mother of all races. Her priesthood is devoted to saving and preserving life. To this end, however, they are aware that in some cases those opposed to life are to be fought and destroyed. Priests of Seliun are charged with seeking out the injured and maimed and restoring their health. They wear a silver medallion with the rising phoenix enameled on its surface.

Shandar the Wanderer is the wise protector of all who venture onto the open road. He is the patron of bards, rangers and merchants. He is the loyal supporter of music and tales of adventure. Priests of Shandar often set up shrines and shelters on long stretches of highway, to provide places of shelter and worship for travelers. Many priests also travel the roads and byways seeking to protect and heal those who have found trouble on the road. Many bards pay lip-service to Shandar even if of differing alignments. Some druids will also work with shrines of Shandar, as some of their goals will be very similar. Shrines to Shandar will sometimes be found in association with Talon's Keeps. Priests of Shandar wear a brooch shaped like a harp.

The Lord of Order and Duty, Talon is revered as the bringer of law, who maintains order so that the weak might survive and the strong might defend them. Many orders of mercenaries are devoted to Talon. His priests are battle-hardened defenders of the law. They are given the use of the halberd to enforce Talon’s law. Priests of Talon often set up small keeps along oft-traveled roads to prevent incursions by those who would disrupt trade. Many times Talon’s keeps and Shandar’s shrines are built together. Most town guard organizations have chapels to Talon. Talon's Priests wear a blackened silver raven claw as a talisman.

Drakken the Shadowlord is the great power of neutrality. His domain includes those who work from the background to ensure balance. Few druids worship Drakken directly, instead preferring to worship nature as a whole, or simply the ‘force’ of balance. In the latter case they embrace a
portion of Drakken’s essence without accepting the whole, and he supports them in this. Drakken is the patron of many who act as spies or infiltrators, helping to keep them hidden. He is seen as a great indigo dragon whose wings cover the night sky. Priests of Drakken wear the Rhuk, a veil that covers the lower half of the face.

Stellorn is the defender of freedom, protector of the free spirit, and the embodiment of "Might makes Right". His followers believe in personal strength and freedom. His priests wear a tattoo of a burning tiger on one bicep and carry two-handed swords.

Loviarn, the Mistress of Pain is the embodiment of enforcement
of law at any cost. Her priests all carry the ‘Book of Order’, which provides
rules for every activity in life. They are entrusted with the authority to
enforce every detail of the multitude of rules found in this massive tome. Most
areas of the Seven Cities restrict their activities to enforcing the laws on
the public books, but don’t get caught in their temple if you have any
infraction of the slightest rule. Temples of Loviarn maintain massive torture
chamber complexes for ‘determining truth’.

Rhulior the eater of the dead is a God of corruption so utter and entire that few sane living creatures worship him. Those who do support the ideals of true evil without concern for rules or freedom will occasionally turn to Rhulior, but few of those actually embrace him entirely. Priests of Rhulior wear the tattered purples and carry a scourge which is left adorned with the rotting flesh of its targets. They are tolerated in civilized areas only because of their duties as morticians – caring almost gently for the newly dead. Priests of Rhulior act as if three levels higher when rebuking undead.

Schith-Rak is the Lord of utter destruction. His followers
and devotees believe that the order of the universe limits the freedom of the
souls within it. They seek the true freedom of absolute entropy. Priests of
Schith-Rak are given the freedom to act entirely on their own, having no
ordered priesthood. Their only commandment is that at the end of each day they
must have caused more chaos to spread through the world. At third level they
gain the power to cast one lightning bolt per day, doing 6d6+6 points of
damage.

Legend has it that Clangeddin, during the Great Dissolution, harvested the largest gems from the depths of Sidria and struck them with his great hammer. The shards of the gems fell to the earth and arose as the first dwarves on Sidria. Clangeddin split the dwarves into clans and gave them the domain of the mountains, allowing dwarves to cultivate strong skills in mining, craftsmanship, blacksmithing and stonework.

Sinister Lolth, Mistress of the Dark Elves, led the deviant sect of elves into the depths as the Great Dissolution wreaked havoc upon Sidria. From there, her worshippers birthed massive underground cities and became the premier race of the underdark realms. The dark elves will always be at war with the elves of the surface, and both elves and dark elves have spawned new classes specifically for those devoted to the race war.
